A Worse Punishment Prison Than Yazoo??
It appears there are as bad, if not a worse federal punishment prison than Yazoo. some of the names to date are Big Spring Federal Prison in Big Spring, Texas and Texarkana Federal Prison in Texarkana, Texas. The foregoing accounting of Big Spring Federal Prison, B.S.F.P. (which is another low security federal prison, the same as Coleman/Low and Yazoo/Low) is put
forth from actual documents of the events that transpired at B.S.F.P. The documents, statements and witnesses are held by Kimball associates.
Actual Events That Took Place at B.S.F.P. In 2003
- An ongoing epidemic of tuberculosis and chicken pox was prevalent.
- Overcrowding which is prevalent throughout the BOP causing an extremely dangerous environment for every incarcerated prisoner, is worse at Yazoo and B.S.F.P. At B.S.F.P. prisoners are housed in open 3 story barracks typed buildings. Bunk beds are spaced 26" apart, with each inmate allowed a narrow 40" high locker.
Cramming in prisoners with bunk beds only 26" apart promotes the spread of disease, thus the ongoing epidemic of TB and chicken pox. This also causes friction, fights and riots, all of which are commonplace at B.S.F.P.
- The lack of air-conditioning or even ventilation in the extreme heat in a three-story building, housing approximately 800 prisoners should be criminal in itself. The air-conditioning fails and is not repaired for weeks at a time. Warden Haro refuses to allow even the only door on the first floor, which allows 800 inmates to enter and exit, to be opened when the air-conditioning is not working for the prisoners to receive any kind of ventilation.
- The epidemic is so bad staff member, Mr. Storie, contracted chicken pox just working at B.S.F.P. Prisoners are placed in the hole for reporting another prisoner having chicken pox. Prisoner Michael D. Richardson and 2 other prisoners were put in the hole for reporting inmates infected with chicken pox to unit manager Mrs. Jacobson. Prisoner Richardson personally knew 2 other prisoners that contracted TB; prisoner Smith and prisoner Fairchild, while knowing many more that tested positive. This due only to the deplorable living conditions at B.S.F.P.
- The head physician's assistant (PA), Mr. Shelton admitted that B.S.F.P. has a very high rate of tuberculosis. PA Shelton also confirmed the fact of placing bunk beds 26" apart escalates the spread of diseases like chicken pox and tuberculosis. There is no question that placing bunk beds 26" apart in an environment infested with TB and chicken pox to totally inhumane, torture, both physical and mental and far exceeds cruel and abusive treatment.
- Additionally B.S.F.P. places 5 prisoners in one cell in the hole. The cells in the hole are approximately 90 square feet, which includes a toilet and sink. Inmates are forced to sleep in shifts. These types of acts would be criminal anywhere in the world., but not when condoned by our US Government's Justice Department and Mr. Ashcroft, and are operating within the United States.

Kimball believes that Mr. Miller was "low" in his quote of "innocent" people
in federal torture and death camps. Kimball believes there is proof of a
much "higher" percentage and that's "not" including the 40% of all
prisoners that would "never" have been convicted at all if they were
provided a fair trial, by the United States Justice Department.
- Kimball had to sleep on the cement floor in the hole at Coleman Low, and Atlanta. In Atlanta Kimball had to sleep on the cement floor next to the toilet and get up each time a prisoner had to use the toilet.
Over-crowding causes the needless Torture and Deaths
Of thousands of inmates a year
- All low prisons and camps are busting at the seams; the same as B.S.F.P., Yazoo and Coleman. Prisoners have to endure sleeping on cots 10 inches apart, bunk beds 26" apart, sleeping in hallways, TV rooms, while the screaming and yelling is continuous. Disease spreads rapidly as medical treatment in the BOP is essentially non-existent, except when a prisoner has degenerated under such inhumane treatment to near death.
Riots, Stabbings and Killings
- Riots , stabbings, fights and killings were common place at B.S.F.P. and many other prisons across the United States. On July 15, 2003 and again on October 26, 2003 riots took place at B.S.F.P. involving two to three hundred prisoners due to living in such horrible man made conditions.
- Unit manger, Rentas, told prisoner Michael Richardson that the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) regional director knows and condones the way B.S.F.P. is operated. Essentially Warden Haro and other staff appear to enjoy following the orders of his region; torturing and killing prisoners.
Most Horrible
- On one occasion at B.S.F.P. a staff officer named Espinosa incited a group of prisoners to take violent action against prisoner Rodriguez. Under the orders of Officer Espinosa, prisoners nearly beat Rodriguez to death. Warden Haro, and/or informed personnel at BOP region refused to take any action against Espinosa, or the prisoners that beat him. Warden Haro and other staff at B.S.F.P. took action against Rodriguez.
Nearly dead from the beating, Rodriguez was placed in the hole while medical treatment was refused. Prisoner Rodriguez died a few days later.
Prisoner Richardson being a humane person, filed complaints about the murder and other inhumane treatment to Warden Haro and the BOP region. The response to one of his many complaints by the Texas Regional Director Ronald G. Thompson stated he may not file complaints regarding the treatment of other prisoners. The Texas BOP regional director and his subordinate employees at B.S.F.P. obviously condoned that murder and the torture and deaths of other prisoners at B.S.F.P.
- Prisoner Michael D. Richardson in his filing of complaints not only named the people involved with the Rodriguez murder, he informed the Warden and the BOP regional manager about all the other atrocities going on in B.S.F.P. to include the stabbings of prisoner Adrian Lopez and prisoner Gonzalez to no avail.
Inhumane Medical At B.S.F.P. And Throughout the BOP
- Prisoner Richardson filed complaints to no avail about the deplorable medical at B.S.F.P. Richardson was the recipient of such treatment and he reported such treatment of other prisoners. Richardson even pointed out the fact that a prisoner suffered a reaction while in the visiting room, simply because he was administered the wrong medication by incompetent BOP medical employees. The prisoner later died.
When Richardson suffered an allergic reaction to a medication he was given by BOP medical staff, there was no medical staff on duty at B.S.F.P. to address his serious medical problem. However Mr. Richardson luckily survived.
Retaliation By The BOP Against
Prisoner Michael D. Richardson And Others
- Prisoner Richardson was handcuffed and placed in the hole on September 12, 2003. Richardson's paperwork about why he was put in the hole was fraudulent, the same as Kimball's was when he was placed in the hole at Coleman/Low. Kimball has a copy of the fraudulent order given Richardson and himself. The Lieutenant at B.S.F.P. that issued and signed the fraudulent order was Lt. David Daniels.
- On September 14, 2003, Captain Clinton of B.S.F.P. made a special trip to see prisoner Richardson; advising Richardson his being in the hole was a big mistake and he did not want Richardson to think it was retaliation, which of course it was. Captain Clinton kept Richardson in the hole over two more months under the guise of "investigation."
- During the time Richardson was in the hole he was deprived of his due process rights, even a pen, along with witnessing fraudulent documents given to other selected prisoners placed in the hole under the same guise of investigations.
- Fraudulent issuing of documents is standard throughout the BOP. Richardson's fraudulent document is essentially the same as Kimball's from a different prison. Richardson's fraudulent detention order states he was advised why he was put in the hole, (which the BOP must by law) on September 12, 03. The law states a prisoner must be given the reason in writing they were placed in the hole within 24 hours of being placed in the hole. Richardson's detention order stated he was placed in the hole for investigation on September 12, 03. Also the detention order stated he was delivered the detention order by Staff Officer Hills, signed by Hills on September 12, 03. However, the detention order reveals it was a computer generated document that was produced by the computer on September 15, 03 the day after Captain Clinton told Richardson it was all a mistake. Additionally, the detention order was delivered to Richardson in the hole by Officer Childress on September 17, 2003.
