The Real Truth We May Never Know
How Is HIV Spread? A few years ago former Surgeon General Coop appeared on television and announced to the nation how HIV was transmitted and how it can be prevented.
The Surgeon General (SG) stated that HIV is a sexually transmitted disease for the most part and can only be transmitted via the blood supply. He went on to say the disease can be transmitted via blood tainted needles, having sex during menstrual cycles, anal sex and other types of blood to blood contact such as tainted blood transfusions. Research confirms these facts stated by the SG were correct.
However, the SG went to inform the nation that they cannot contract HIV via mosquitoes, and little to no chance via oral sex.
The announcement by the Surgeon General appeared to be a very well thought out video pre-taped performance by the SG. This simply because, as soon as the SG stated HIV could not be contracted by mosquitoes, the very next item to appear on the TV was a huge jar full of mosquitoes with someone's arm and hand in the jar, as the SG was continuing his national announcement.
The mistake the video producers made was the arm and hand in the jar, pictured with mosquitoes, was completely covered by a white plastic glove.
In Kimball's opinion the research reveals that the SG taped release was deliberatelyflawed and more propaganda put forth by some government officials, to remove fear from the public.
With regard to mosquitoes. The statement people cannot contract HIV from mosquitoes Kimball believes is false. Simply because, if a mosquito draws blood from an HIV infected person and is interrupted, does not acquire its fill of blood, then travels to the next person and draws blood, there most certainly is a chance to transfer the HIV virus. A higher chance of transmittal would occur if the next person bit by the mosquito happens to kill the mosquito while blood is being removed. Now, the HIV infected blood the mosquito was carrying, would be directly around and in the opening made by the mosquito extracting blood from the second person, and the virus could immediately enter the blood stream of the second person.
Oral Sex. The SG stated little to no chance of contracting HIV. The rationale the SG stated on TV was that HIV dies in within minutes of open air contact. Air is in the mouth and the virus would more likely be killed. If the virus was not killed the stomach acids would kill the virus. Those arguments have scientific fact and appear to be absolutely correct.
Left out in the SG statement was the fact that in far less than one minute semen carrying HIV can travel under the tongue and thus gain entry directly into the bloodstream. Any knowledgeable doctor or medical personnel is perfectly aware the layer of skin under the tongue is so thin that any medication taken under the tongue will enter the blood stream almost immediately. That's why people with serious heart disease take nitroglycerine under the tongue because of its immediate access into the bloodstream.
There is no question in Kimball's mind there is a very high possibility of transmitting the HIV virus via oral sex due to the simple access to the bloodstream via the tissue under the tongue. Why the SG withheld such facts from the public is not known.
The amount of people infected with the HIV virus worldwide is consistently climbing not declining.
